Day 18 - Hunger for the Word

The Word of God brings life. David often expressed his delight in the commandments of the Lord; he loved to walk with God and understood that sin destroyed that precious relationship. Sin brings death, but abiding in God's Word produces life. As Christians, we hunger for the spiritual nourishment of the Bible in its revelation of righteousness before the Lord. Ask Him today for a craving for his Word and an understanding of its life-giving power.
