Women's Worship & Testimony Night
RiverStone Ladies invite you to a Worship/Testimony evening located at First Free on Friday, May 1st from 6:30-8:30pm. Join us for snacks, coffee, and some wonderful fellowship time together!
VA March For Life
Join us for the Virginia March for Life on Wednesday, April 22, as thousands gather at the State Capitol in Richmond to stand together in support of life at every stage. The day will begin with a rally at the Bell Tower at 10:00 AM, followed by a peaceful march through the city streets. This is a good opportunity to stand in unity with others who believe every life is valuable and worth protecting. There’s something meaningful about showing up shoulder to shoulder, a quiet but undeniable witness that compassion and conviction can walk hand in hand.
Transportation is completely free. Generous donors have covered the cost of a bus from Charlottesville to Richmond, so you won’t need to worry about parking or travel expenses. Just come ready to participate and be part of something bigger than yourself.
After the march, there will be a brief optional training for those who want to learn practical ways to engage thoughtfully and effectively on this issue within our state. Whether this is your first march or one of many, you’re invited. Your presence matters.
Prepare—Enrich Marriage Workshop
**Only one spouse is required to go through the registration process, however we do need names and email addresses for both spouses which are collected during registration.**
Marriage Enrichment is an ongoing formational process that shapes and strengthens the marriage to build healthy families, the bedrock of a healthy society. Your marriage can be a powerful witness to your family, church, neighborhood, and community of the love of Christ and His bride. Does your marriage display love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? Do you enjoy your spouse? Do you see growth opportunities?
This Prepare Enrich 2 Day Workshop is designed to strengthen and enrich your marriage in an engaging conversational learning environment with other couples. While no two marriages are the same, as Christian couples we are all navigating the seas of marital oneness in Christ, so why not share the voyage with friends!
Each couple will take the Prepare Enrich marriage assessment, which will be emailed to you after you register. This information is confidential and can be shared at your discretion. Once you have completed the assessment your feedback will be given to you at the workshop. The sessions will provide feedback and interpretation of the assessment during the general sessions.

Good Friday
Join us for Good Friday on Friday, April 3rd from 7-8pm as we gather for a meaningful time of worship and reflection. Together, we will remember the sacrifice of Jesus and prepare our hearts for the hope of resurrection. It will be a reverent and powerful evening as we pause and reflect on the depth of His love.
Palm Sunday: Bilingual
Join us for a special bilingual Palm Sunday service on Sunday, March 29th at 10am as we come together to worship and reflect as one church family. We’re so excited to celebrate in both languages and experience the beauty of worshipping side by side. After service, we’ll be sharing some light refreshments, so plan to stay for food, fellowship, and community!
Eyes of Fire: Beholding The Glorious Christ
Join us on February 27th from 7–9PM at First Free for a powerful night centered on the glory and majesty of Jesus. Samuel Whitefield will be speaking, inviting us to behold Christ as faithful and true, the victorious King. Come early from 6–7PM to enjoy coffee and fellowship before the service begins at 7PM. The evening will include worship focused on the beauty of Jesus and space to encounter Him together. We’d love to see you there!
Live, Love, Laugh! - A Night for Married Couples
Married couples, you’re invited to a joyful, Christ-centered Valentine’s celebration designed to strengthen your covenant and refresh your connection. Join us for a delicious meal, laughter-filled games, meaningful teaching, and Spirit-led prayer as we invite the Holy Spirit to renew love, unity, and joy in marriage. Come ready to connect, laugh, and be reminded that God is the center of your love story.
You can pay the $20 fee with cash or check by placing it in the offering and labeling the envelope “Live Love Laugh,” or you’re welcome to pay at the door when you arrive!
21 Days of Fasting and Prayer: One In Christ
Join us from January 11th through January 31st as we come together as one church family for 21 days of fasting. During this time, we are setting our hearts toward unity, surrender, and deeper oneness in Christ, believing that God desires to move powerfully when His people seek Him together. Though we are many, we are not divided. Scripture reminds us:
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” — Romans 12:4–5.
Let this be a season where we lay aside distractions, draw near to the Lord, and allow Him to knit us together as one body. Rooted in Christ, united in purpose, and filled with faith for what’s ahead.

Young Adult Worship Night

Purpose: To encourage the body of Christ through worship, testimonies, the Word of God, and fellowship!
Event Description: Young Adults, join us for a powerful night of worship, testimonies, preaching, and prayer with other people your age in the Charlottesville community! The worship will be bilingual—in Spanish and in English. All churches in the area are welcome. :)
